Fuzhou University


Fuzhou University is designated low risk for its low level of defence research.

Fuzhou University is overseen by the Fujian Provincial Government and a focus on engineering disciplines. It does not appear to engage in significant levels of defence research. Defence and security links

Under the May 2018 agreement between the Fuzhou provincial government and SASTIND to jointly develop Fuzhou University, SASTIND will be supporting and guiding Fuzhou University to develop national defence disciplines in the following ways:

  • Supporting the establishment of defence technology key laboratories,
  • Assisting Fuzhou University to undertake military technology projects,
  • Constructing defence technology innovation bases, and
