Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) is designated medium risk for its moderate level of defence research.
GUET specialises in electronics, communications and computer science. It engages in growing levels of defence research, indicated by the decision to place it under the joint administration of the defence industry agency SASTIND and the Guangxi Provincial Government in 2018.https://web.archive.org/web/https://www.guet.edu.cn/xxjj.htm

Major defence laboratories
No laboratories at GUET are known to be dedicated to defence research. However, SASTIND seeks to establish defence laboratories in universities such as GUET that it oversees. The university’s Key Laboratory of Cognitive Radio and Information Processing, Ministry of Education (认知无线电与信息处理省部共建教育部重点实验室) carries out some defence research.http://archive.fo/ymyrY
